Following her high school graduation at the age of 16, Eilyn Cueto traveled to Costa Rica and attended college and worked there for a few years. Her goal was to travel, and to learn everything she could about architecture and interior design. In fact, she spent a long time searching for an up-and-coming designer, until she realized she was exactly what she was looking for. While still in college, Eilyn discover her fresh design vision, as a freelance designer under the tutelage and supervision of a licensed architect.

This is how and when Eilyn Cueto was able to design and build numerous public spaces, including hotels, restaurants, markets and many more. This is a passion she felt from a very young age, when her father took her on a father-daughter trip to Home Depot and she would convince him to buy her some paint for her room. Then, when she was home, she’d lock herself in her bedroom and paint the room, then rearrange everything inside. This was a pattern she would repeat every few months. She didn’t know it then, but now she recognizes that as the seed of her passion for interior design.
Eilyn Cueto started her commitment to the field of design at a very young age. She was born and raised in Miami, where her father would take her to the local hardware store.
